Swimming starts on Monday!
Swimming lessons start on Monday, April 20th. Please send your child to school with their towel, bathing suit, and a bag to put the wet items in.
If you are choosing to send your child to school already wearing their bathing suit, please remember to send undergarments in their bag.
Update – Mr. Craig will be the Teacher-In-Charge for swimming lessons.

Magical Learning Opportunity for Our Students and Community
We’re excited to share that Magician Steve Harmer from Motivational Magic will be presenting “Celebrate Character”at GW Skene School on Thursday, April 23rd.
Our James Short Memorial School students will be walking over to attend the afternoon performance, where they’ll enjoy an engaging and inspiring show focused on building positive character traits.
Families are also invited to join for an evening performance:

6:00 – 7:00 PM
Doors open at 5:45 PM
This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and experience an entertaining show with a powerful message. Everyone is welcome, we hope to see you there!

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us today for our Grade 1 Celebration of Learning. It was wonderful to welcome you into the school and share in the excitement of your children’s growth and achievements.
Our students were so proud to showcase what they’ve been learning, especially highlighting their experiences and discoveries from their wagon walks. These hands-on learning opportunities have helped deepen their understanding of the world around them, and it was a joy to see them confidently share their knowledge with you.
