Coffee and Conversation/School Council Success
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Coffee & Conversation/School Council meeting on Thursday, September 25 at 9:00 a.m.!
Some highlights from our discussion included:
- Communication about student learning
- Ideas for celebrating diversity in our school
- Activities parents would like to see happening for students and families
To make sure all families have a chance to participate, our next Coffee & Conversation/School Council meeting will be on Thursday, October 23, from 3:45–4:30 p.m. in the staffroom. Snacks and babysitting will be provided.

Orange Shirt Day
On Wednesday, October 1st, students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt (or an orange article of clothing if they don't have an orange shirt) to recognize Orange Shirt Day and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for everyone to come together in the spirit of reconciliation to show their support of a safe, respectful and caring school community.
School Logo Redesign
We are excited to share that our school has been working on developing a new logo to represent our community and the values we share. This process began in the spring with input from staff, and we are now ready to invite our greater school community to share their thoughts before we make a final decision. Your feedback is an important part of this process, and we would love to hear your perspective. Please take a few minutes to complete this quick survey by noon October 3 to help guide our next steps.
